Re: RIP Space dude

the only good kraut is a dead kraut No worse than any comments made by football supporters towards each other. I think anyone that has been to war earns the right to hate their enemy for the rest of their life if they so wish. What a shame Lord such didn't become PM, we could have had Patrick as se...

Re: Safety Apparel

Ah, nostalgia... :) I was looking like a dorky Robert Smiths, only with a little shorter dirty Blond hair, Dr Martin boots, jeans, long raincoat, full face LEM helmet and a big silly smile as I just completed Military duty in one piece... And here I am taking another risky life style with minimal pr...

Re: Safety Apparel

The daft thing is us "Old Farts" are the one's who tend to wear all the correct kit, I think because we know how much it hurts when it all goes Pete Tong. I was following a guy down the A10 one night in the summer, about 1990 I think, and he was wearing an Arai Giga helmet which colour ma...

Re: Safety Apparel

Although it's not perfect, we have a much stronger culture of wearing the right gear over here. It's not the case in the US. Brittany is trying to change culture. That's bloody hard work in one small organisation, let alone a country. Good on her I say  +1 that is very true, especially in ...

Re: Safety Apparel

Re: Safety Apparel

Thanks for sharing that with us..... As a tool to encourage the use of bike clothing it does a very good job but not really something I want to see whilst eating breakfast.. 8O :) We all know the dangers it's just how we act upon them at the time. There has been a time when I took to the roa...

Re: hope they sorted the ccts!

dont look standard to me. http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/7258/19448916.png tbh you'd think theyd have used an sp engine with gear driven cams and the fueling wouldve been easier to fix too with it being fi standard. carbs dont like blowers. looking at the spec it only puts out 140bhp - if theyd...

Re: For all you parents

Having a kid is like having a dog, it's OK if you go to a good home  (:-}) A little more then that Carl ;) had a dog as well.... When you have kids... It's not about you anymore... "YOU" seize to exist :) that's where you have to learn to keep a healthy balance to stay sane between t...

Not everyone deserve to be a parent, that is something that comes with what it's called "responsibility" Some of these images reflecting horrific parenting... Including the obese child in the supermarket cart

Re: Exhaust style

I guess it's a matter of taste ;) the goose neck mid pipe is not the best looking thing and I think there is a trade here, but the swept exhaust look I tend to prefer more, just seems more in line with the rest of the bike, not necessarily with the tail alone. Here is a picture from a trip two summe...
