Re: Misfiring / clanking, possible cam timing problems...

When you set the tension on the CCTs, did you set it to 7mm deflection or slack? EG from its middle position, was it 7mm or 3mm to it's maximum stretch?

Re: Bike comms....

I've got an auto com unit. Well worth the money. I can't recommend you any specific models as i've only used the one really but any will do most likely. They're not cheap though so you'd better be sitting down.

nearly went over the bars the first pull of em and they've not got a proper bleed done yet - still a bit spongy.

Re: Numb hands again

You can tell that's a fast one - it's red. Someone somewhere posted some foam-overgrip type things they put on and that helped them apparently. Might be worth 'aving a look round? Oh yer, and re sitting position, i've recently gone round europe on mine, i found that keeping your elbows bent and putt...

Re: Vtr was running great a day later it's all gone wrong.

White smoke is normally coolant burning. Does it smell "sweet" (best way i can think of to describe it) when it runs or really fuelly?

Where abouts are you from? Maybe someone might be able to take a look for you?

Re: My firestorm won't start!!!

If oil smells like fuel, could be as simple as float bowls out of alignment? fuel leaks down and sits in the cly then down past the rings and to FREEDOM.

I own a ktm - ask me how i know about leaking fuel? ;)
