Holy cow that's a big break to miss!
Go gental with it, nearly fell down the stairs when I had a broken collar bone.

Re: Cb1300s or hornet900
CB1300 - Muscle sofa with a bit of handling.
CB900F - Personally rode a 2004 600 Hornet and loved how you sit in them like the VTR, short wheel base makes them handle nice.
CB1300 for me, bit more space in there when you need to work on it

Re: rear shock
Doesn't look too bad if it's been sat for 3 years! I'd sand it down gently and re-paint that.
Suppose you would just need to check the plate that holds the spring on is still ok?

Re: 99-00 Honda VTR Firestorm (Carb)
I refrained from mentioning the grin factor. When you think how good CB500's have always been considered to be on fuel. Is this based simply on MPG or do they take any performance / thrill factors into the equation. If one one good MPG then they may as well get a vespa. I suppose what it boi...

Hello. I double checked but there is no option to post New Topic. Cheers for the PM MacV2 but I couldn't reply to that either so I haven't bothered taking any current photos. I'm based in the Halifax, West Yorkshire area and have changed to a smaller 500cc Honda CB. Just thought it would be more use...

99-00 Honda VTR Firestorm (Carb)
Hi Guy's I've been a member for a while but I've never really had many issues with my bike and not posted much. Because of this I fall outside of the 50 post range for putting my bike up for sale on the forum. I haven't taken any photos yet due to the above but I'm interested in selling for spares o...

Wheel Bearings Honda VTR 1000 FX 98-99
Hello. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the rear wheel bearing size is the same as the front wheel on a 98-99 VTR? I've got a full set of rear wheel bearings (x3) and they don't need to be replaced just yet but the front does and was wondering if I could save a little time and money u...
