Spitting in the air box.

When you start the bike up, you get a spitting in the air box, apparently there is a K&N air filter fitted, the seller said this is why, knowing better I feel its more the fact that the carbs probably have been rejeted and the fact the owner has put the standered cans back on is making it spit b...

Re: Interesting reading IMO!

One of my mates had a TL, he loved it, but the build quality and reliability made him sell it.

Every time I saw him he was like " its off the road again ".

I remember the gear box blew on it atleast once.

Re: About to acquire my second Storm

Been checking over the bike.

Its got

smart water, Datatag and a datatoll alarm.

Previous owners paranoid.

And I discovered a scottoiler, I get frustrated with them but i'll use it untill it annoys me enough to rip it out.

Re: Workshop Day - Colchester Essex - April 7

I'll be there, wanna fit these Manual CCTs, not done it on a bike before so gonna need a little guidance if I get into trouble.

Would it be a good idea to get some photos to add to the fitting guide on here, to help people who would do it at home?.

Better to let your confidence grow as you ride more, better to take it slowly than a slow drive to the cemetry.

The only bikes I regreted partying with are this CBR600 and VTR1000 Firestorm ( previous one ). The Tr...

Ha Ha They really are a strange bunch at JoR aren't they. Family run & they all work there. The dad is John who started off in pushbikes, hence the shop name. The real weird one is the son Mike, tall skinny bloke, he used to do a lot of grass track racing until one big off too many left him a b...
