Re: Wiring Question
Without looking at the wiring diagram but from memory,I just traced the 3 wires into the loom for the side stand switch then use a multimeter and check which of the 2 wires to the side stand switch has continuity when the stand is up.link the wires then you don't need the stand switch. I wired the c...

Re: Broke my TPS :(
the tps is sold separate, its listed on lings Honda website at a nice £205.so 160 euros is a bit better.
I have seen them reasonably cheap on ebay but I suppose it depends on how quick you want to get going again.

Re: fuel
When I was commuting on my storm I was getting 85 miles before light.
I removed the shims in the needles and that rose to about 100 to 110 miles
But that is at a steady 60 mph in grandad mode not weekend fun mode.

Re: Stripping my carbs, any tips
Hi there, I take it by air shut off you mean the slides? If your cleaning the carbs then you want them as bare as possible if you are just cleaning them with carb cleaner and compressed air so you will need to remove the slides. If they are being ultrasonic cleaned I would hazard a guess that they w...

Re: General election - which way will you go?
does anyone else think that the politicians we have at the moment seem to just argue in a childish way. most parties seem like they will ruin this country by causing everyone to argue with each other. i think these monkeys should do a 30 years of work in the real world before getting a job of talkin...

Re: larger oil cooler?
i havnt got any photos of it.to hand anyway but i made a bracket out of 1.6mm steel and bolted it up where the original oil cooler bolts on. the bracket is easy enough just a little awkward to get the angle of the bend correct so the oil cooler doesn't come into contact with the rocker cover.

Re: vfr 750 wheel.
yep, agree, trying to do a bit of homework, the wheel is fairly local to me.has been powdercoated too.but i suppose could be a a disaster trying the 6 spoke thing when my original wheels are ok and just need discs. id like 6's on my build too but i have a r1 front on that and the only 6's i seen for t...
