Without looking at the wiring diagram but from memory,I just traced the 3 wires into the loom for the side stand switch then use a multimeter and check which of the 2 wires to the side stand switch has continuity when the stand is up.link the wires then you don't need the stand switch. I have seen them reasonably cheap on ebay but I suppose it depends on how quick you want to get going again.

i havnt got any photos of it.to hand anyway but i made a bracket out of 1.6mm steel and bolted it up where the original oil cooler bolts on. the bracket is easy enough just a little awkward to get the angle of the bend correct so the oil cooler doesn't come into contact with the rocker cover.
