Bike finally running
Put the new valves, seals etc in and the bike wouldn't re-start even though it was turning manually fine. No motor kick at all with the starter. After much head scratching, I went back to the forum and read 'cupasoop' (Rich?) post of July. . . . "have you connected the vacuum pipe to the right ...

Hi Chris No you're not too late as I am now waiting for 2 exhaust valves from DavidSilver (3 week lead time). CCT Question
Hi Guys First of all, my sad, sorry tale, then a question. . . . Changed my rear cylinder CCT, and made a rock up, I didn't check on the crankshaft that the the piston was at TDC (I know, I know, stupidity) :( The rear cylinder exhaust spocket must have slipped around the camchain when I took the CC...

CCT fitting advice
Wish I had read your guidance notes earlier. Am just finishing having to reset cam timings on front and rear cylinders after the rear cylinder cam chain jumped its exhaust sprocket - DOH. I didn't get the crank lined up with the RT mark, so the lobes were still obviously on the valve buckets and rot...
