Re: firestorm smokes from left exhaust
If your getting smoke from the bike when first starting then nothing to worry about, if when the bike is warmed up and you still getting smoke but its a blue-ish colour then it probably a piston ring letting oil through. Unless you have a high mileage bike it is more likely that oil left standing i...

NEW BIKE? COLLECTIVE WISDOM
Hi Guys My son in AU is looking to upgrade his MT-03 which he used to pass the AU driving test to a larger model. He has asked if I can get any feedback on the following bikes. This bike for the street use only as we will be sorting out an SP2 for Trackdays. Any feedback would be appreciated - thank...

Re: New from South Africa
There are still many unanswered questions regarding the full veracity of this bike. From the photos I have seen the one thing that is certain is that it is a Spondon frame and s/arm. There is no verification regarding the exhaust but the pipes could well be Akro but the cans do not look genuine to m...

Re: moonshine
Back in the late nineties Phil McCallum gave me two bottles of Moonshine,
one made from Rye and the other from potatoes as a thank you. The gift was much appreciated until the day after the night we drank half of one of the bottles. Best of Luck with your quest!!

Re: Roger Ditchfield
Roger, did you see the Vinnie Black Knight, in a multitude of bits that sold recently for £98,100! I heard about it. I cannot imagine what my Lightening would fetch if I had not sold it for £450.00 to an American in 1967!!! £450.00 was a lot of money in 1967. I believe it was the first Ligh...
