Clutch case.

Hello all. just managed to throw my storm down the road on the way home from tesco, and have smashed the clutch side cover. does anyone have a spare cover they would be willing to part with for some dosh, or know how I can get hold of a replacement? Thanks.

rode it for over a week with the same issue, the first time I rode it it slipped. a week later it slipped exactly the same.

I soaked them for over an hour and a half before installing them, the only thing I can think of is the oil I soaked them in was fully synthetic, not semi.

don't think so, I think the kits faulty, as soon as i put all the old parts back in its back to how it was before, and slipping loads less than any combination of EBC parts if it slips at all.

I had brand new steels, and they were all identical so just put them all in. I have semi synthetic castrol power one. been through it all with the ebc guys via email, hes just told me to send it back.

one clutch, the origional is on over 60k and would slip if I was hammering it, so I ordered a new complete kit from EBC frictions steels springs, theeie race clutch. not cheap at £160, I waited OVER 4 weeks for it to finally arrive, and upon fitting it instantly slipped in any gear at any more than ...

I did it easily with no special tools, a slide hammer would have been wombles useful but I managed without, I didn't need anything to undo the damper bolt, it just undid perfectly fine.

Agreed, after the taking those reading i'm definatly not doing the rings, i was leaning towards stem seals anyway as when i got it on 46k a year and a half ago i had it dynoed and it put out 102bhp with an almost perfect fuel/air curve after 4k with no smoke while he was revving but as soon as he sn...
