Brakes and suspension are fantastic, best of all no chain to worry about, I'm lazy.

hope you don't mind if I stay with forum

all the best

Interesting Gavin :!:

Please do stay, and also come back and give us your full opinion once you've had time to get some miles on your new machine :!:

Your pictures could do with being slighty larger

Hi Chris

Followed Kaz's instructions on how to post pictures, they don't tell how to enlarge them though.

Lack of dive from front forks is a bit different, heavy braking so far has resulted in nuts colliding with tank, totally different from Storm, dosn't sound 1/2 as good, but seems better around roundabouts, no need to slip clutch.

Best of all 139 miles to red light :D :D

All the best

Fookin 'ell Gavin!!!

You're PLEASED with 139 miles out of a tank?
Its 20.5 litres FFS

That said, I've always had a (deeply suppressed) fancy for these
There's just something about the looks that I really like

Hope you like it &please report how it compares
I've got an inferiority complex
But its not a very good one!

Book says 18ltr. tank incl 5 ltr for reserve when light comes on

So I reckon I got 48.6 mpg, must hammer it more!!!

Must admit though Ben it seems to be more forgiving than the Storm, with the suspension and seems to pull better in 5/6 gear although accerlation is not as good, in 1/2 gear

Cool Bike Gavin,

Always quite liked the R1150s
