Keep it QUIET summer's here

Ace day yesterday,late breakfast at devils bridge..The plod never noticed my missing tax disc(in my wallet ociffer),swift beer in Bowness ride round the lake, ferry from Hawkshead back thru Lythe valley n home down the A6 n trough of bowland...210 miles only annoyed one of her majesty's constabulary. First quality day of the year may there be many more 8) 8)

I'm up for heading that way Mike.

I really like the trip over from here too (used to do it regularly to visit the ex in M'boro) The road from Ripon to Thirsk is a cracker, but got slapped with double white lines and a 50 limit :(

Well, lots of summer left to come, so I'll be out and about for sure.

It's great to get out for your first ride of the year in a decent bit of weather :!: It sounds like you enjoyed it :D 8)

OOP'S must ave spoke to soon. Yea it was one of those to rare quality days.I don't get many weekends but if anyone fancies easter an Sunday ride I'm more than up for it 8)

I remember Oliver's Mount. Racing a 500 Velo. At the time I recall Mick Grant was also a Velo maniac in the same race.
