I currently live in Daventry, the bike is a Black 2001 i got it in Feb this year with only 4700 on the clock and FSH.

The Hornet started to play at 8000 rpm and above,as you know the VTR tops out at 9500, One thing i like about the VTR is the lack of gear changes, bad thing was the stiff wrists ( no rude comments)

Welcome!
The torque of a 'Storm will amaze you and you can get 'lazy' as it'll pull from just about anywhere in the rev range and in just about any gear at any speed; honestly.
I went back on a Gixxer the other day and was real cack on it now due to never getting in the right gear and buzzing the nutz off it like you need to!

Hi Tiptoes,

Welcome aboard :)

Yep the storm is an impressive bike, I love the engine braking and when you need to accelerate out of harms way, its like sh*t off a shovel.

Enjoy :D
