hi all and could i ask a favour

Post by warby221 »

Hi just joined the fraternity and thought I’d say hello
Got a 98 VTR just before Xmas in red
Has laser high level cans, Moriwaki belly pan “not sure if it’s a copy” braded hoses, there’s a k&n filter to go on and a dyno jet kit this week
Love the motor but it goes a bit flat when you’re expecting the power band about 7k
Nothing wrong I think im just use to a 4-pot power delivery
I’ve just got a second hand pyramid plastics belly pan but it has no mounting brackets so could I ask a favour if any on has a set of brackets could they post some pic’s side on and from the top so I can get the dimensions to fabricate some
P.s my other bike a 19-year-old VFR I do like me V’s

:D Welcome Aboard Warby :D
Just keep it singing between 6 & 8K. It'll keep up with any inline four through the twisty's

Warby 221.
Welcome.
Having come from a Suzuki UJM (across-the-frame-four) you find it is different. But, it is soooooooooo good to have massive roll-on torque so that you open the tap and it pulls from low down without having to tap dance through the 'box at every incline, roundabout (traffic island!) etc.

Take time to 'learn it' and you'll fall in love. Promise.
