well from my present position of being a newbie here is some history.
first moped 1976. Gilera trials. failed test cb250 3 days after getting it back after a gravel related accident. passed car test next day..
1976-1983 cars, D.J ing mobile disco, followed swindon speedway all over the country. nearly forgot married
1983 she lets me take my test again after this came a string of projects Suzuki X5,Yam RS125, CX500,VF750F,CBX750 (to German GP 2 up), CBR1000(180mph club),Fireblade (crap wouldnt do over 120 had it from new), Various BSA, AJS,Triumph, 2 sons, YZ465,XLH883/1200 but the old Hondas never gave much trouble.
now the 15yr old has a XL1000 after working up a project CB550 chop swapped for a ZZR600 .
The eldest(18) 2 mopeds, CCM644, 600 Bandit, waiting shoulder op so may sell bandit.
Currently the garage looks bare with just the two Harleys , bandit , VTR and 2 maico 400's to rebuild. We did move house once with 12 bikes.
in between bikes we have had 10 houses in 23 years!!

thats the condensed version :?

will add, I joined the forum a few weeks ago before I got the Storm as I was looking at a 900 Ducati (had a 851 after the blade), looking for a cheapish run around thought Id stay big twin so dropped a question to introduce myself. seemed positive and I missed a 1988 900SS bargain, and couldnt be arsed to travel 2 hours to get a 1995 900SS so I got the storm from the next town.

1997, 5 owners , 30k, years ticket, black, only mods are rear hugger and rear indicators set up under seat as far as I can see, that is. CCT seems very quiet not sure if this is good or bad.

As for me, well. Passed my test last June bought a 53 plate SV650 S and did this to it on July 24th. A month after purchase!!

Then I bought a 600 Bandit to learn how to ride on. Nice steady power and easy to handle

Now I'm onto a VTR.

This is more like a history in pictures
