JUST BOUGHT A 1997 VTR. TRIED TO CHANGE FRONT SPROCKET AND THINK SUPERMAN MUST HAVE PUT THE OLD ONE ON.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW I MIGHT LOSSEN THE NUT.

Easiest option is to take it to a car tyre place and use their air jack.
It'll undo it without even having the back brake on!!!!

Failing that you're gonna have to get a long bar, put it in gear, get a couple of large mates to sit on the pillion seat and another one to stand on the rear brake

I have never been able to get the front sprocket off with hand tools, either on the gixxer or the storm. They get put on with an air jack and that pretty much means that you can only get them off with an air jack!!
