Post by Fiddler »

In case you loose an axle outer spacer The things the dustseals run on .. Here goes in metric nominal sizes All spacers to be slide fit on axle
Rear Axle 20 mm diam.
Spacer diam both 35mm
Flange spacer big diam 43.5
Length 14 mm
Rear axle 300 mm long
Distance between swing arm 250 mm between adjusters

Front axle diameter as rear 20
spacers note smaller outside dia than Rear
Both 33 diam.....one wide 22 one narrow 15
Diameter of axle into LH fork 25 mm C51 long
Quite easy to misplace dirty spacers . Might help if you have a lathe .

Now I know . The rear caliper is fitted in position before the wheel is fed in. I tried to put the caliper in after . NO !
I also want to go the bobbin rear paddock stand method .
Anyone drilled and tapped swinging arm? Will look.
People like the bike now .. Yellow and Balmoral metalic green wheels . I had some Rolls Royce paint spare ,so on the wheels it went . .
