Malc did say he would try & sort something out but go ahead & sort something if you want. Factor in the slow ones at the back...

So as we have had 3 drop outs now does anyone know any one who might want to join in the fun... They will have to pay but I'm thinking that will be a beer fund/pay for the takeaway/breakfasts...

Come on Folks. Talk yourselves into it instead of out of it.
A weekend away in some good accommodation for £77 can't be beat. Great roads, some good company, a few beers and plenty of talking bike baldricks. Whats not to love?

:D :D :D

Malc, here are the the 2 routes i made up, are they any good?

Was thinking the southern one for Saturday and the northern one for Sunday but we can look at the weather and decide on the morning.

Southern. https://kurv.gr/9xBsN

Northern. https://kurv.gr/vQrYW

It turns out that once i was looking at the map I couldn’t remember many of the roads that i have followed you down in the past, so I have just tried to use the better B roads and keep off the main A roads (to avoid the holiday traffic) where possible.

Looking at your route Al.
You're quite close to Croyde, I would highly recommend you visit that place and surrounding area.

Today I have spoken to Sue ( Malcs better half...) unfortunately Malc is not in a good place health wise. It's more than likely this will be the last time we will see him. Its very unlikely that Malc will be able to make it to the chalets. I have asked if I will be able to pop in to see him. We all won't be able to pop round but me & A N Other will be able to make a short visit.

Sorry for the sh1t news but that's the big C for you.

Plan A is to contact Sue when we get there on Friday PM & make arrangements from there.

Mac.

Such sad news, thanks for the update Mac although it’s news we were not wanting to here. Let’s hope your visit to see him lifts his spirits in some way.
