Just been for an evening blast in this "bootiful" county and I can't believe what two warm days have done to my favourite roads. What were nice grippy bends are now shiny streams of tar, which has come to the surface
with the heat. Worst affected are those which have been tarred and chipped recently. So if your out this weekend, take it down a notch until you see what YOUR roads are like!

If it rains on Friday as forecast, it could be very interesting

The "bootiful" county is Norfolk (comes from Bernard Matthews turkey adverts!) Local TV has shown gritting lorries out in various parts of East Anglia, trying to get some grit onto the worst affected areas including A140 Norwich to Ipswich road. But I guess lots of roads across the country will have been affected, especially those which have a surface of chippings laid on tar. If you've had temperatures above 25C this week, take care!!
