The s\n on the engine I am running now is a bit odd to me and I haven't seen another like it so time to ask you guys if any of you have seen this before.
What makes it odd is the last 3 numbers are hand engraved not stamped. No it is not a stolen engine as it is clear it was done at the factory as the pad and the paint have not been altered or molested.
I have a couple of ideas on what it might be and have also sent my question to Roger to see if he has any info on this.
So do I have a real odd ball or is this common and I just have missed it before as I never really checked eng s\n on the VTRsI have worked on

Re: Engine S\N
Well as always Roger has come through for me. In case anyone else happens upon this "issue" the ones in the UK were usually Singapore "grey imports" but is perfectly legitimate.
