Hello from Canada.

Hello all. Long time reader, just signed up! My name is mike. From eastern Canada. New to the VTR scene, not so much new to bikes. Have had a number of motorcycles before this, all sport bikes. Picked up a 2001 VTR1000 last year and have been spending this summer putting some kms on the old girl. I am a licensed automotive mechanic, I also work quite a bit on heavy equipment. Im hoping to gain some knowledge from you guys, and hopefully I may be able to give some insight as well. Nice to join the site finally.

Hi there and welcome.
After 20-plus years of these bikes, people are still warming to them. Might be even more popular now than in their supposed prime. Great bike for low cost.
