Does anyone know how things are going with Bennyboys project? He was off to a good start I think
Bad choices make good stories
Re: So it begins
were did you get the caliper mounts? they are the same as mine and i always wondered who made mine. also your discs 320? again who supplied them? they look like the old smaller hole pcd? as in storm/early blade fit
the older i get,the faster i was
Re: So it begins
Morning all, been off the radar for a while is it storm come to a stop butttttt last Friday saw some action and got the butt end transformed.
I also ran in to a small problem re the isr discs I bought, they was listed for the storm but when it come to it they didn’t fit unfortunately the off set was for a blade, so it was back to the drawing board, I have since spoken to a firm and I should have the new discs in 3 weeks time

Re: So it begins
As I’ve decided to change the rear sets unfortunately the new rear master cylinder wasn’t a straight fit, but last night we managed to make a new bracket to mount it to so that it was functioning properly. Another thing ticked off the to do list.
Re: So it begins
Not too much been happening with the bike but thanks to a very helpful forum member for remaking the mock up bracket that I had made, I now have the new rear master cylinder mounted to the rear sets.
Re: So it begins
thats the same brake setup i have now, get yourself a mid 2000s blade master, iv an o6 on mine and the brakes are bloody great
the older i get,the faster i was
Re: So it begins
I’ve actually got a 2006 gsxr 750 master on at the moment so will see how that performs and go from there but will definitely keep the blade one in mind
Re: So it begins
Sooooo after what seems like a life time I’ve finally got the old girl back home, it feels like Christmas has come early for me.
Re: So it begins
That’s a lovely colour scheme, my favourite of the fag packet sponsors. May cause StormyRob to have a nose bleed and a nervous breakdown though!!
