Carl - If you think there's a problem where you could make a difference then join a hospital's board of governors (made up of a mix of folk), there you could get the issue on the agenda and try to get changes made for the better. Though bear in mind NHS budget & resources isn''t infinite and along the way people have make difficult decisions because of that reality, like a person trying to provide for their family with a few quid in their pocket - choice is do you buy baccy or a lump of cheese...

Council of Governors example > https://www.uclh.nhs.uk/aboutus/FT/GB/Pages/Home.aspx
Our Council of Governors, which is chaired by the trust’s chairman, is made up of 23 elected governors (four public; 13 UCLH patients; one carer of a patient and six staff) and 10 appointed governors from partner organisations representing our key stakeholders.
Sorry Mac - that's me over & out in your thread. Let normal service resume.

I wish Al, havent excatly got full range of movement yet...prob only 30% & thats with what they call 'assisted movement' ie you use the other arm to move it, so your not useing the muscels in the effected arm...Still bloody hurts tho...but then they did slice through the muscel to get to the bone to plate it...

Another visit to the physioterorist today.

Slowly getting a bit more movement, given a couple more ex's to do at home, range is improving just not as fast as I would like.

Still a long way off getting on me bike. *

Arm tends to 'lock' up with cramp if in same position for any lenght of time.

Another sesh in two weeks... Thurs of the Wales weekend...

*First ride will have to be Custard to the MOT...Run out 5/8....

I'm sorry to hear things are not mending as quickly as you'd like Mac. I know what it's like to have to miss out on things like this up and coming meeting, I feel for you mate,

Chris.

I'm working on it but it's doubtfull i'll be riding...

I've sat on a bike a few times, even this morn but after just a few secs I can feel it pulling & starting to ache, no way could I ride for any lengh of time without being in pain. :(

Being me right arm it's not like I can rest it whilst riding either...

So pulled a few Storms out of the cave today to do a few bits n bob's.

Sat on Custard, started it up for the first time since the post off ride home...

Took a few moments of turning over before it fired up but soon setteled to a nice smooth tick over...

Better news is that sitting on it now I dont have to make brmm brmm noises...

No better news is, it wasn't as sore to sit & reach forward, not perfect but deff an improvement...

Pyhis on Thurs...
