VTR1000 F3 for sale. 2003 big tank model.

Post by Hondo »

Due to circumstances I am selling my second Firestorm. It was this or my Fazer but I tend to use my Fazer for commuting and this one only comes out on Sunny days.

This one is quite special to me because I have done so much to it over the last year. I will also be putting it on the bay but I thought someone on here might fancy it first.

Here goes;

2003 VTR1000 F3 Firestorm.
14,563 miles from new.
Michelin Pilot 3 tyres only done 500 miles.
WP adjustable suspension at the rear.
WP fork springs.
Pyramid colour matched lower fairing.
Brand new Manual Tensioners just fitted.
Engine is a peach and sounds quiet and lovely. No rattles.
12 Months MOT just done, no advisory's.
Image Works gel Numberboard at rear.
MotoGrafix Front numberboards
Carbon Gel yoke cover
Every MOT since new.
Renthal Sprockets last year and gold chain.
Loads of receipts for services and parts.
Part Service History and my own service record. Valve clearances done less than a thousand miles ago.
SEBRING Hi-mount exhausts (Very Rare) new last year)
Original exhausts (like new) and pillion foot pegs also included.
Owners Handbook and Service book, 2 keys.
£2750. Bargain. What else can you get for this money? The bike handles superbly and the engine sounds great.

But it's not a lot of dosh though is it? If you look on the bay and see what else you can get for that money it will be old, rusty, worn and high mileage.

It is hard to let it go indeed. :(

It's only over-priced if it dosn't sell. I'd be really interested to know what you get for it. Good luck with the sale,
Cheers

Thanks all. It's going on the Bay tomorrow night and I am sure it will sell when you see some of the crap that is on there for similar money.

Just my tuppence and only my personal opinion but id get it all back to stock, remove the levers, all the aftermarket parts inc exhausts , take off the stickers from the frame/swingarm etc, IMHO flogging the aftermarket parts will get you get nearer that £2750 and help the bike appeal to a wider audience.

I agree , £2750 isnt a lot for such a bike but £2750 is top dollar for a private sale in storm world....which is partly why I bought one!

Good luck with the sale.
