Out from hibernation and died

So I get the bike out of the garage, bit of choke and she roars into life. I take her for a spin to Milton Keynes, slowing down for a roundabout and She lost a cylinder. Throttle it up a bit and she bangs or muscles through but really jerky. She just had £14 of fresh fuel from my usual place so I'm thinking carb issue or air leak? Any ideas or common issues with these. Any help would be appreciated. She has 38,000 miles on the clock and she's 97 1000f
Cheers Ben

Did you prep it for hibernation or did you just bung it in the shed for 5 months?
Carb could be gunged up from standing if you didn't drain the float bowls.

Cam chain tensioner? I'd say original I've only owned the bike a year but had other projects on the go. Which ones are recommended please

Give them carbs a a thorough clean i expect jets etc are bunged up as it was ok when you put it away.

She had been running fine except for the odd little twitch at steady speeds around 3000rpm

Or fuel tap diaphragm, if it's a 16 litre tank early one.
