Is one of these digital vernier calipers acurate enough to measure bucket shims

Yes and no. It depends on your finger pressure...it a bit like tightening MCCTs to finger tight. :roll: Personally I use a micrometer which can be set more accurately to begin with and one can use the clicking on the fine adjuster (Rachet) so accuracy is spot on. Use one with 0.25 increments. Cheap cheerful Chinese one do the job juts as good as the more expensive ones and they can be picked up for a fiver.

Better of with a micrometer but a digital vernier will do. :thumbup:
