Wow go faster Spontex sponge to go in a Spondon frame  Are you planning on giving it a coat of paint and making it all nice and clean and shiny. How about some pics of inside the inlets and exhaust ports then

first of can i say a big thankyou to Roger. i contacted him and he has been emailing me for a few days. the guy seems as excited as i do that one of these engines have surfaced again. way above what any engine tuner would normally do. hes been sending me a list of engine specs and details that i would have thought were trade secrets to be honest
and after lots of checks, some of which i needed help with.like measuring cam timing etc. i now know i do indeed have a full fat stage 2 sitting infront of me. cams.heads high comp pistons and flywheel etc..
motor wise im gona clean it and paint the cam covers but mite sound strange but i wana leave the engine kinda as is, leave its age on it and not end up with a shiney thing..

heres a wee pic of his handy works on the port front.

and the flywheel i found

and so the yellow one doesnt feel left out i have this to go onto it.

Take more pics of the porting, cams and combustion chamber. It'll be interesting to see the differences between your ST2 and mine with stage 1 cams.
