I've had a pneumothorax when I broke a couple of ribs when I fell off a Pizza Box shelf in a Pizza shop. I was laying on it on my back painting and the wombles thing fell off the wall with me on it and a right angle shelf bracket got me in the chest as I fell with it onto the floor. I had an extra ambulance called out as they needed another crew to help lift me up on the stretcher over the counter

me too, when i was having my Lung biopsy they through my ribcage to take a bit and my lung deflated, i was lying on the good one etc and actually thought i was gonna peg it, horrid moment. Hayfever yes i can sympathise with that, however if you meant due to the sneezing etc, that cost me dearly, thought my ribs had collapsed at very sneeze. i thank feck they sorted me out everyday.

dont feck about if you cough for me than a week get down the docs.My only issue to start with was a very small dry cough about every few hours, that lasted a week and i then realised i had lost about 10lbs and wasn't dieting. I had to tighten up my belt. As you know, it was chuffing lung cancer and i was told 'Terminal" initially. after 9 biopsies i was told it wasn't defo terminal. They did a great job on me. I don't take chances anymore.

I will raise it with the authorities as soon as poss...

At the moment trying to get anything from either my doc's or the local hosp is like trying to get blood from a stone...which incidently is the same as me trying to cough at the moment...Malcs right it's little girly coughs only at the moment & it just doesnt do the job to get that huge great grolly up out of me lungs...Did manage a bit this morn & happy to say no blood.

Macdee was right ...

Visit from Vanstub this morn, he brought cake & we walked round the shop for some supplies which he carried back for me...

Also a public thank you to Bazza & Flattie who both rang me to take the piss... er I mean whish me well... Thank you

I know that one. My GP said they will organise for me to see a specialist orthopaedic doctor at the hospital. I never heard anything and had to get them to chase it up, then the appointment came through for 6 months later. I rang up the hospital and managed to get it brought forward to Feb as there was a cancellation. Then the last time I went to my docs I asked them if I could have some Diclofenac and they they said they don't prescribe them any more and tried giving me Ibuprofen FFS I know what works for me. I told them not to bother as I might as well take Nurofen plus and double up on the dose and I get a bit of Codeine with them then too.

Bikes not with me at the moment. When I do get it back here...it may have to sit and fester until I'm able to do anything physicaly, tis a bit difficult to do anything at the the moment.

The bar end weight is wired, it's had some major scuffage & has snapped the end off the internal bar weight, the screw & the end of the inner weight are still attached...

Unsurprisingly I just happen to have most of the spares needed in stock. I wont know the full extent of what needs doing until I get it back. I supect that I find more damage when I get a proper look at it.

As it's just the clonker commuter I dont really give a damm about the looks, it wont be getting paint thats for sure...

When I was in hospital with 3 spondyles broken, there was guy in worse shape and after tough surgery with lot of metal inside, who went to the hospital 14 days after his crash. The pain is not coming from particular place, and you can walk for sure, for some time.

I hope it is not your case. Good luck.
