Thruxton BSB

Post by Tony M »

Taking the Storm for a run from Barnstaple up to Thruxton tomorrow morning to watch the British Super Bikes.
I am riding with my work colleagues, they are on; ZX10R, Aprilia RSV, Ducati 996 and a Busa !
I've said I'll wait for them!
I'll let you know how it goes! :D

Enjoy your day, but hp doesn't always mean quickest over the ground. Show those boys that usable hp and delivery count for more :)

Thanks Richard, to be fair, the lads are pretty cool and it should be a sensible ride up there.
This will be the longest trip I've had on the Storm so far!
I have had her serviced, new CCT'S, and new chain and sprockets in preparation for this trip, so I'm hoping there will be no issues!
To say I'm excited is an understatement!
I love my Firestorm :D

have a great run out mate. I think handling will play a part ! I spent about 3 hours today chasing after my mate on his Daytona 675 . bloody thing goes round corners like its on rails! (I think he might be a better rider than me as well) . proper spine tingling noise when its revving at about 9 grand as well

We got caught in a heavy downpour on the way back, it only lasted about half an hour, other than that it was all good.
More to the point, the Storm never missed a beat! :D

Glad you had it mostly dry

I was watching it on TV, unlucky with Shane Byrne's gear change issue,

You were very lucky. Every time I have been to Thruxton, in the past, I have been drowned. Glad you enjoyed the day and the storm preformed :D

M5 up to Taunton, then head for the 303 all the way up!
