Make sure you clean the powder coat off where the brake discs mount to the wheel, it's a machined surface and needs to be flat, bare metal.

SNAP.... malc'o grumpyKat beat me to it, they should have masked the disk mounting faces [and the pilot diameter] before powder coating, any lumps and bumps on there will cause the disks to run out slightly.

Thanx mate :biggrin I've always liked white rims on bikes, but don't think it looks good on a black one :wink: Snow? We don't have snow in Norway :shh: :lol:

Now the front fork is complete with new stanchions, bushes, washers, oil etc.
Made my own tools for fitting the upper bush and seal, mase out of pvc pipes.
I also welded a nut to a long pipe, and drilles two holdes in it to be able to bleed the damper rod.

Thanx ;) It worked out, was a simple and "free" solution.
Bought the stanchions from aaamotorhk on Ebay.

The day has come! After spending 6 hours in the garage yesterday, the bike is now ready. Nissing chain guard and front mudguard, but I have to have something to do this winter along with the paint job :wink:

Can anyone tell me what happened to this cylinder head? Looks like its cut and welded. As you can see from the other pics, its slightly modified :P
