Reg/rec - Is this one ok?

Apologies for starting a new thread..

5 days into my storm ownership and I am doing some much needed maintenance/checks, having taken off the side panels to check the Reg/Rec (as advised by the your good collective selves) i have found the below;



I can't see any writing markings on it, but it doesn't look like the original so anyone else have anything similar fitted?

Also found some red paint under the blue tail piece, does this mean it should be faster?

That looks like the one I have, no worries for you there. I'd be more concerned about the red It will mean your bike is poorly and becoming infected with scarlet slowness

It's mainly blue, with some hidden red and a little silver & black - as long as I don't find any yellow or teal I think it will be ok
