Now its had a couple of days to dry I have to say I am fairly pleased with how this has turned out covered in the hammerite. Looks a whole lot cleaner.

There is. I hope its worth it in the end. Want something to be proud of.

Long way to go but I'll put pics up now and again. Hope for majority to be finished mid February. Finishing touches in March and one more change happening April lol.
Then I wont want to ride it as I won't want it dirty!

Today in the south of england this happened

YES that's right. The sun came out and looks to be staying today.

So I decided to paint the Swingarm. I had initially intended to powder coat it. However I painted the frame satin black and wanted it a perfect match. Also only a minimal amount of the Swingarm is seen to I wanted to minimise cost and effort with it.

Seems ok. Pretty much dry. Should look fine but needs to cure

Didn't even realise what it was!

Didn't paint the bit underneath as I needed somewhere to hold it.

Shortly after this pic was taken it rained!!!

hahaha also you need to leave a couple of areas unpainted, where the rear subframe bolts to the main frame, it's to make sure you get a good earth on the electrickery....
