well that was a great weekends racing... er sorry riding.

many thanks to Popkat for the thought & effort he puts in to this event, it puts my lack of hosting skills for the Scotland meeting to shame .

great to meet a few new faces, vanstub, Bearair & Michaela
great to catch up with Chris after a good few years
and great to see the usual reprobates like Bazza, Mac, Tony & Pete
was also great to see a few empty spaces in the Chalets so I could have a room to myself with no snoring bedmate
also great to not see a couple of people who didn't turn up.
but mostly it was fecking great switching off from reality and talking shite for 3 days and riding like a 16yr old

It was a shame that a Honda wasn't reliable, but lucky that Bazza had a tell-tale fitted so knew about it as soon as it happened.

The Call of Shame:

(although, to be fair, it got up to the top of the hil where he could get reception!)

Some of the bikes outside the chalets.
What happened in the chalets stays in the chalets, but the bikes stayed outside, where they were safe and untainted...

Another round of applause for Popper; he did a sterling job.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Oh they didn't turn up? Had they paid? I assume no word from them?

Shame, they could have fixed Bazza's bike :-)

All the no-shows paid, so it just meant we were 3 to a chalet rather than 4, so it was very civilised.

Well I guess it depends on your definition of civilised

Marty had wind.... Is that the same ?

We missed you and CK, but we found more naked joy boys to step into the massage room in the form of Pete and Mac

Pete was too busy applying his own moisturiser...It had nish to do with me...Alison was just peeved coz GrumpyKat* pulled bigger wheelies than him all weekend.

* MalcoBobKat wasn't really grumpy all weekend like is being made out...he did smile occasionally but then had to rest whilst his face recovered from the strain...
