Another newbie joins the fold (Nottingham)

Post by SmileyVTR »

Well hi there guys! After a 14 year break (took to the non-engined two wheel variety after "dropping" my ZX6 too many times) I decided to get back into the proper stuff, and what better than a tuned VTR? (gulp!)

Simply love this bike, that sound should carry some form of indecent exposure warning.
And yes, Yellow is best! (hides exploded flies better)

Still getting back into the swing of this lark, so no big mods yet, although LED bulbs (for instrument/position/turn) are in the post.
(well, except the Renthal Kevlar grips = lovely; and some twin snail horns...not fitted cos WHERE CAN YOU MOUNT THEM!!!??? It's tight down there)

(and I guess I oughta stick some embarrassing pics, just to fuel the sarcasm)

Now THAT is a top quality, superb photo of a Firestorm. Yes, despite it being a yellow one. I viewed this photo full size, and it'd make an excellent wallpaper!

I ride a red one. Not that I am biased against storms in other colours. Other storm colours ARE nice...as long as they ain't teal, blue, orange, silver, yellow or black. :whatever

Hope you've been measured up for the special jacket with the numerous buckles, straps and rear tying sleeves, cos it's the required code of dress for in here....

Thanks GingerBeardMan

I took it on Tuesday evening outside Matlock Bath, taking advantage of this weather
(it replaces my previous favourite shot of my CBR6 taken in the Trossachs with those gorgeous multiple road twists in the background, sigh....)

Next shots will be in some "funky" location (urban decay or graffiti) - just need to find it first.

welcome to the forum fella, great pictures of a very clean bike...
if you want a funky urban background, get yourself down to London, there's a tunnel under waterloo station which is very well known for it's graffiti art work.
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
