Alright John, looking good, how you getting on with it ?

Don't blame me for the number boards that was Jamie's poor Blue Peter * bodge job...

Mac, :D

How the hell are you? LOL
I saw the handle "MacV2" and wondered..... I was hoping to get her to a point soon that I was going to give you a call and pop over to show you how I was getting on!

Thoroughly enjoying her and have done nearly 1000 miles since I picked her up from you!

As promised I have tried not to "butcher" anything, haha

P.S. No, blame was aimed your way for the "number boards" but they had to come off! LOL

1000 miles you must be enjoying it...How many tank full's is that !

Like them pipes what did they set you back ?

I hope (in this case) that your are casting doubt on my mechanical ability rather than the potential longevity of the bike, LOL

Um, ............ ... it costs me about a tenner to ride to work and back (+-90 miles return trip), and that's not driving miss Daisy either! But I didn't buy it for the fuel economy!

Pipes were just under a quarter of the cost of the Bike, but worth every penny!

Shes running slightly lean on midrange at the mo' (Im fairly sure its because of the extra air flow) but I've only ridden her once as I'm not taking any chances until that is straightened out.

Johnny, the good news is, its only jamies bodywork, the result of mac and Jamie deciding they wanted to change colours

Yeah, Mac explained..... and the DVLA didn't mind changing the V5 either! (Nice of them :D )

Any opinions on whether it would be worthwhile removing the PG or whether the lean running is purely the result of my improving her lung capacity (I have read up on the posts regarding jetting and spluttering, etc.)

Ah well I knew 96 would be no good for anyone else, but I like to think it brings me luck, she looks nice dude :)

Just trying to find some old pics now...

Thought I recognised the bike  Good luck with the piper filter that will take some messing around and dyno work to get right. Get used to removing carbs and making changes. You will most likely find she will run better with a standard filter.
