Hello again

:D
Great forum, biggest mistake was selling my SP1 many years ago! This forum gave me a load of support.

Seriously thinking about getting a vtr that needs some work....

Alright?
A name from the past, sho nuff.

Get yourself a nice little doer-upper, have a play, end up with something you like.
You can hardly go wrong at this price point.....
Mind you, an old VTR will have you hankering after another SP.

As well, of course.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

welcome aboard tony.
hmmmm a fixer upper, well you'll find a few sub grand vtr's, but you'll end up sinking a fair bit of blood sweat and tears into it...
but you will get the satisfaction of knowing the hidden jobs will have been done by your good self.
I've had a few shite box vtr's.....broken exhaust studs, seized engine bolts, threaded bolt holes, crappy alloy fasteners, dried out shock linkages, scabby forks, auto cct's and poopy reg/recs.
imho try and find a well cared for bike, it'll save a whole world of hurt, just ask brian c...... :(
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Hello and welcome .

As ap said a fixer upper will cost a lot more in the long run .
There is a very very nice one going on sale next week (if your pockets are deep enough) .

Lube, no lube, it's your choice .
