Hello all!

Post by Surreystorm »

Hello All!
What a great site this is!
I've only had my fx for about a month now but I'm impressed so far (except for the cutting out on idle every now and then, but I'm working on that). Previous bikes include a DT50mx, GPZ500s, Bandit600s, CBR400rr and two VFR750s. I still have my BSA A65 Lightning too.
I met Fireball XLS (if I recall his name correctly) today at Newlands Corner in Surrey: really nice bloke.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here!
Oh yes, it's in the fastest colour which is blue if course! :D

Cheers Guys, what a great bunch!
It's a medium dark metallic blue and looks like the one in the avatar of Chris Virgin Storm.
Thanks for the warm welcome! :D

Welcome!

A BSA A65 Lightning? That sure was the nuts back in the day.

Looks like we have matching bikes !!'mm

Just going to get a fully belly pan sprayed, once I finish all the jobs I have set myself before it goes on the road:

Chain and sprockets
Manual cct
Check rear suspension links
Paint and fit new belly pan
New seals on rear wheel
Do direct wiring mod for r/r
Fit replacement header pipes

Already done full service and fluids change and fitted longer sidestand

Really learning about this bike!!!
