My red storm :)

I got my storm for a pretty nice price as it was a bit tatty so i decided to tidy it up and i wanted to share the results. After 2 TL1000s aka the widowmaker i thought a storm would be boring boy was i wrong!:)

Front end rebuilt forks painted wheel powder coated new seals and bearings.

All finnished for now :) im very happy with the result new bearing powder coated rear various bits and bobts blasted and painted upgraded/replaced rear footrests gone for some nice hangers :)

The TLS was all or nothing i found which was great at high speed a pain below that. The clutch on both the ones i had was so heavy it gave you hand ache lol.
The firestorm can potter around all day below 6000 rpm but wind it up and your in for a treat! also have to work the gearbox more on the storm than on the Tls not a problem for me but i was surprised by this at first as the tl just had more grunt everywhere. I would still say the firestorm is a better all round bike though :)

Always fancied a tls as it was the first big v twin I heard and loved the sound and I even like the looks .

my mate had 2 tl`s and the noise is what made me get a storm

nice looking bike for a red one :lol:

Thanks they where on the bike when i got it and they sound great :) Im just on the hunt for a bellypan now i think it will be a nice finishing touch :)

Very good effort, congratulations and mine's a pint. Agree about the need for a belly pan, oh and a set of racetecs or supercorsas for that extra grip when you need it.......scraping the pegs after going in too hot! :Shock1:
If you've over-cooked it, just lean it over more.
