I get full uk and Europe recovery with my classic bike insurance from footman james - and these days anything which is 15 years plus qualifies. So I have my 98 blade on the policy and will be putting my storm on it in May when it is 15 !!!!

check your distances as well .
the only time I ever used my breakdown cover I was 14 miles from home and only covered up to 10.
the extra 4 miles cost me about 40 quid iirc!, payable before they winched the disabled beast onto the truck :(

Some years ago I enquired with the AA and was told that I was the policyholder and
it is the person who is covered.... whatever the vehicle was... car or motorcycle of any description
that will do for me ..I pay for it though ..its very usefull.

Saintman up untill this march the 6th I was with the AA for 17 years and was told with guy at renewals that the AA has been sold again to shareholders and the staff have been told not to give discounts for me and my dad joint the renewal fee was £185 we have not called them out in 5 years so told them to cancel my policy total joke they will just lose customers its the people u see at the side of the road that can't change a wheel should be penalised not the people that don't use it
