Just fitted a set of LED indicators, also fitted 4 resistors (6 ohm)
Trouble is they still flash at about double speed.
Indicator rating is 0.72w, but gives no current value.
I was gonna get 10ohm resistors but im guessing !!
Anyone tried an LED flasher unit ? I think it might be my best option.
I cant use ohms law as I don't know the current value !

Re: LED indicators
Just seen a variable speed one on ebay
Re: LED indicators
ok. so I googled this problem and wired the resistors correctly now(in parallel), found out that I only needed 2 , 6 ohm resistors on the back indicators
so I wired the rears up with said resistors, LH work perfectly, correct speed, RH, wired exactly the same but flash quicker
It was too cold so I will live with it for now !

Re: LED indicators
Just a quick update, just in case anyone else has similar problems,
The resistor option worked for a while, then didn't when I went out on the bike, they sped up
when I used the brakes ! Maybe dodgey wiring.
So I put the wiring back to standard. (twice the flash rate)
Received my LED flasher unit off Ebay (£6) one with 3 connectors and now the flash rate is perfect
Also note that I have 2 different sets of indicators on the bike but both LED
So very pleased (and surprised) that this relay worked!
