Should I be worried?
A wasp emerged from my laptop today- I saw it come out, and distinctly heard it say "Howdy, Pardner" as it flew away.
I think it came from the USB port.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Insect in my laptop
Reminds me of the time I saw a mouse on my desk. Followed Macs advice of a Little Nipper baited with peanut butter...........next day mouse gone, but couldn`t get the cursor to move for love nor money.......

Dam you beat me to it. Actually that is exactly where the terminology computer bug comes from. Back in the days when computers consisted of great big glass valves inside, a Moth literally got into the machine causing the computer to fail. The Moth was removed therefore the computer had been debugged.Sounds like you had a bug in your system Tony!

Pour petrol into said port & light with an extra long match (can't be too careful here, safety first & all that.)
When the flames have died down & your eyebrows have stopped smouldering, take laptop tie a brick to it & throw it in the pond.
That should be the end of any remaining wasps.
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
Re: Insect in my laptop
