bad service then saved by another

Post by bazzashadow »

ordered some bits for my sons bike from http://www.apriliagenuineparts.co.uk
order was placed on the 22nd of november and on the 3rd of december i had heard nothing so i rang to be told "sorry we would nomally be in touch but forgot, your bits are still on back order"
i then phoned with no answer so i tried an email which they tell you to do,on the 8th with no reply
i then tried to phone again yesterday with no answer, emailed again, no reply started to think they may have gone out of buisness
found their sister company (teasdale-motorcycles.co.uk)and called them, answered straight away and said sorry for not replying they where having work done(does not help me), they then said one part was obsolit and the other parts where still on order "ring tomorrow and they will find out where they are"
rang this morning and got a refund

rang a j sutton and he looked up for me and found http://www.ultimateparts.net had the parts in stock so all parts reordered
and touch wood are on there way

What a pa-lava. It's a nightmare buying parts sometimes. Why is it always the customer that has to do the chasing up  Hope you get there eventually.

thats the biggest problem, you are at their mercy
and living in Norfolk we are out on a limb, so there is little competition so we have to order of the internet to get a good price or you get ripped off
ordering these bits on line saved £20 :eek2
