Standard Header or aftermarket?

Post by Varastorm »

Hi,

Seen this picture of a VTR header, looks different! It has the link pipe bridging over rather than the normal flat joint. Any ideas?

Standard Header or aftermarket?

It's for a rsv milli I think or a custom system for racing at Mallory due to the long right hander so it's been rerouted to the other side of the sump

Hi,

It does state it's a VTR one, Ebay Item 331243009205

Could be a special ?????? If I had a VTR I would seriously be tempted.

BTW, How did the camshaft change go? I am looking into this myself and have been reading about your exhaust cam experiment!

Any updates will be appreciated.

Regards.

Now that's a short answer.

Did you manage to dial them in ok with the standard cam wheels or machine or dremmel to dial them in?

Did the existing timing wheel marks work?

Is there a change to power? Or torque?

Sorry for all the questions but am trying to learn from people who have done it.

Big thanks.

that exhaust doesnt look like it cam off of a VTR. the ends where the midpipes connect are in the wrong location. i dont see how that would fit. looks like a stocker from some other model vtwin

If you have a good look through the sellers other items for the vtr you will see many parts not for the vtr
