Full black Storm conversion?

Post by Jamoi »

Fancy joining the fast black club?

Full front/side fairings, tail fairing, mudgaurd, tank, x2 screens & headlight...

So in total:

- RH side fairing.
- LH side fairing.
- Upper & Lower nose fairings.
- Air scoops.
- Inner fairing infills.
- Tail fairing.
- Petrol tank (not inc filler cap).
- Mudgaurd.
- x2 Dark smoked double bubble screen.

All Original red Honda stickers present & correct.

Here's some pics:

Ok, here's the defects (all pictured above)

Tail fairing: has some light scratches on the left hand side (pictured) and the lower lugs have gone awol (although they aren't essential).

Tank: some light marks, light hazing on the right side of the filler cap (pictured). No dents.

LH side fairing: a small crack on the lower leading edge and around the indicator hole.

One of the screens has some fractures, but these are mostly hidden and theres another screen to replace it with.

Mudgaurd: has had a rattle can spray job, but is solid and could polish up nicely.

RH side fairing: underneath where your handle bar sits there are some marks.

I have covered everything in as much detail as I can, all the pics show any marks so you can see them.

I'm looking at £165 for the lot.

Collection is much prefered, although I could be persuaded to drive in your direction to shorten your journey, if you cover my fuel.

I'm sorry but I really need the space, you could buy the set and sell the other bits individually and end up with a free tail and RH side fairing

I just don't have the time to separate everything unfortunately.

I wonder how the Far East fairing people who sell a whole kit for £400 factor the P+P?

Anyone bought one? What box size do they use?
Is it worth doing?

The weight won't be an issue, just the size of the box, I would have thought, Hawk.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

your are right about the weight tony, its based on volumetric weight, so the size of the box and the way that its packed is far more important, I just posted some headers to Australia....£76....the box was 75mm x 30mm x 30mm, but the weight was only 3kg.
that's ferking expensive....

Ok, quite tempted here. I just sorted my seat unit and tank, but my fairing is fubar, and I like the original look of the tank and stickers.
