RR6 Fireblade
I am going to list up my Blade on e-bay shortly.
Thought I would list it here first to see if there was anyone interested before I do that.
It will be listed up on E-bay at £4200 ish I think but discount for anyone from this forum interested.
It has about 12k miles on but I will confirm that when I check later on.

Re: RR6 Fireblade
Might be interested in the forks as spares, if that's any use?
Assuming theyr'e going cheap?
Are they?
Going cheap?
If so I might be interested...
Not what you had in mind?
Ok, well, how about the....actually, I don't need any of the other bits.
Maybe you'd be better off selling it as a runner. Just a thought.
Good luck, anyway.
And if you want to unload those forks, give me a shout, and we can haggle around the £50 mark.
Each, of course, I'm not after ripping you off.
Or you could spray it yellow and keep it.
Just a thought.
Up to you, really, after all it's your bike, even if you don't want it anymore.
I find that once the magic's gone, you're better off getting shot. The memories are better that the long, lingering rusting and clogging up the garage.
Just the forks would be a start- I'd expect someone would want the engine, and a few of the other bits.
Although I could always give you £200 as it stands and unload the unwanted bits on Ebay.
Save you the trouble of scrapping it.
And I suppose if I rented a go to AMcQ for £20 and hour, that would help offset some of the ebay fees.
Anyway give it some thought, and if you get no other offers, give me a call.
But good luck, as I said.
(but don't forget I have first dibs on the forks, there's a good fella).
(Oh, don't need the brakes, by the way, in case you thought my offer was a bit low).
And I've got an old spindle somewhere that would probably fit, if I filed a couple of mm off the diameter.
So now worries about the spindle, in case it's already promised to someone else.
On the other hand, if the spindle's just going to clog up your garage, and remind you of the bike you once had, and you'd throw it in, well, in that case I might as well; it would be churlish to say no.
And no-one likes a churl do they?*
*Unless you have a thing about churls, and if that's the case pls disregard my previous comment and we'l just do the forks thing and leave it at that.
Ok with you?
Fine then.
I'll collect Saturday.
Sorry, AMcQ, I hate to let you down, but you know some people won't help a mate out..
What can you do.
Kind regards,
Tony
PS- good luck with the sale.

So, Ziggy, given it any thought yet?
Alright, you tight bugger, I'll throw in a drink on me.
Your friend,

My other half is expecting our first daughter in June, so partly for the cash.
But also I will be busy this Summer so not much time to ride. Pointless having an expensive bike sitting there depreciating.
I will buy something cheaper I can use as a track bike and road bike. Looking around £2,500 ish mark so that it doesn't matter if I bin it on the track but nice enough to use on the road.
I will defo do the Storm meets (Yorkshire, Wales & Scotland) plus 4 or 5 track days on it.
I have thought about that, I still can't believe how cheap they sell online. In an ideal world I would get a Storm that has had a better front end and flat bars to use on the road / track but they don't seem that common.agentpineapple wrote:are you getting another storm mate?Miztaziggy wrote:Now sold.
