Possible bike scam
Possible bike scam
I know it's not a firestorm but it's still a VTR. It's listed as item location being London, but in the advert it says the bike is in Ireland and he's quoting shipping it to England for £300 and not offerin people the chance of picking it up. http://bit.ly/1gaybvr
Re: Possible bike scam
I have no clue, as I'm not UK/Ireland based... But, he does offer the buyer to arrange their own shipping... It's in the text...
Re: Possible bike scam
That's true but only once the payment had been sent. Why has he not offered the buyer to pick up paying cash, also he hasn't given a location of where in Ireland it is. I may be wrong but it seems dodgy to me.Tweety wrote:I have no clue, as I'm not UK/Ireland based... But, he does offer the buyer to arrange their own shipping... It's in the text...

I looked at the history too, and like I said I may be wrong, but I wouldn't dream of dealing with someone who wouldn't even offer me chance to see the bike before I parted with money.
Re: Possible bike scam
Don't always go by that as it could be a hijacked account being used.Although according to their rating and past history, they are not bad Ebayers?

I would still have to view it prior to parting with any cash
