I've had mine on both tank sizes, it's definitely a better fit on the smaller tank tho

Just got a reply from baglux

"Thank you for your enquiry
The tank cover for the VTR1000F is the same for all years 1997 through
to 2005, product code 1330* depending on the colour required"

So they only make one .

Should make getting one easier :-)

That's very odd, because the yellow I had was small for the 19ltr tank, hence I sold it on, the black one fitted much better, and got it from YMV, then another deal came up and I moved it on, only for it to get lost by yodel....

So to hear one size fits all is strange. Good luck with your search lloydie...

It's leather, My suggestion would be that a new one is more supple, if it's stretched over a 19lt tank from new it will fit, an old one that has been on a small tank for a few years will be stiff in comparison and won't stretch.

My baglux is made of vinyl with a faux leather effect. In summer with the warmer tmeps it can can be a bit more flexible. Wouldn't surprise me if they din't realise the tank size significantly altered in '01 so later owners just have to rely on the adjustment of existing straps.
