We have been living in our house now since January 2012, I sat down and listed everyone I paid bills to, prepared all our documents, informed credit cards and bank of change of adress then when we moved in I sat down for a week ringing everyone I pay bills to confirm new adress, I had also paid the post office to redirect my mail.

It is now December 2013 and I am still getting the previous owners letters and bills, I am really sick of it now, I did tell them to redirect the post and if any went stray I would phone them and let them know, I dont this for six fking months till they actually got of their butt and had their post redirected, it now goes in the bin. crouton em.

I have told the post office about them not living here but yet I still keep getting their post, how the hell can people be so bloody lazy.

we just got a note from scottish power telling us we had just moved in and as a new customer with a pre pay meter we need to sort out a key thing!!

we moved here over two years ago and had scottish power in to remove said meter not long ago coz it was a pain in da ass.

Bill was sent to old owners name too!!

Oh and we left scottish power coz we felt there were useless....looks like we were right

I have recived quite a few bits for the PO since moving in.

Quite a few from various 'Agency's' chasing unpaid bills.

As far as I can work out the house was repossessed & sold at auction, then I bought it off the auction winners.

The bloke that owned it originally was ex Royal Engineers & his wife was German.

At some stage they buggered off back to Germany.

I got one letter from a solicitors of some sort saying that a vehicle registered at this address had been involved in an accident in MunchenBaddenBaddenHof or somewhere or other...

I bunged a note in explaining & sent it back as not known at this address, not herd owt since.

Give your house a name to distinguish it from the others.

My last house we lives in for 7 years and got the old owners mail for all of them. We just shredded it after a while, they never came to pick it up or give us their address.

Currently we're still also getting the precious tenants mail in the flat, same process with that
