FS carbon fibre front mudguard £20 SOLD

Post by tony.mon »

As I'm changing my front end I don't need the carbon (genuine, not painted plastic!) one I have been using.
The front bit is good, and looks great. There are some small cracks in the lacquer beside the forks and under the fairing nose, where you can't really see them, and the top mounting holes are worn.
I bought it like this a while ago, and have merely fitted rubber washers on the top two mounting bolts, which hold it in place perfectly well- no floppiness or vibration. These also hide the tatty holes.

Structurally sound; if you want perfect buy a new one.
And of course, it's a lot lighter than the std one....

As it's not perfect, £20 plus £3 P+P.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
