Near miss - London
Near miss - London
This is so close! Just a warning about the riders reaction - it does contain swearing.
I watched it a few times and couldn't help creasing up with laughter at his reaction!! But it was very close...

If he wasn't so concerned about talking into his mic then he may have had the reaction time to make an evasive manoeuvre. He instead headed straight for him when he could have swerved out the way. The motorcyclist is a Richard and what is the big deal about it. I have that kind of stuff happen all the time, people running or stepping out between cars or whatever. It's part of life on Londons roads so get over it.

Er isn't the bike blue ?agentpineapple wrote:He's wearing a fast blue jacket, it probably saved him
That gave the ped much more time to get out of the way surely...

He wasnt talking into his mike till after, so thats nothing to do with it. Secondly, the blokes stopped in the road, and no one could have predicted his next move, the bloke could have swerved, only for the bloke to go the same way. I'm with the biker, but my language would have been a lot more colourful.
Happened to me once, except I actually hit the tw@ and dropped the bike ( Brand new blade ). Got them to stump up 500 quid for the cost of parts from david silvers.

Re: Near miss - London
My little bro had an off today :-( car pulled out on him and he had no where to go . He's ok bikes not .
I asked him what happened and he said the nob in the m5 looked at him and pulled out so my bro aimed right for the drivers door as he knew he had no chance to stop .
Yep bikes a wright off and the m5 has a huge dent and no window in the drivers door .
My bro said the m5 driver tried to him so he returned the favour .
I think the m5 driver will think twice next time he's at a junction before pulling out do you
