Noob from East Kent

Post by Storm in a teacup »

Hi everyone

I have just bought a blue W reg Firestorm and picking it up on Thursday.
Love Vtwins having had a SV1000 before.
Looking forward to the bike and meeting/ chatting with other storm Owners.
Really like the hi level exhaust look so if anyone has any linkpipes or knows where I can get some cheap please let me know.

Cheers

Hello and welcome .
Hi level pipes are good if you have very small feet as most run close to the foot pegs and you burn your boots so shop around for a good set or have a set made .

Hi
Thxs for all the welcomes.
I am in Margate and will be sure not to disturb the hops..lol

I am a newbie so no not been on forum before.
I will give my views on SV verses Storm once I get on my bike, I certainly loved the SV so storm has a lot to live up to. Always love the sound of a Storm going past and all reviews say Storm is very underrated.
I plan on track days on the storm so any advice gratefully received.
Cheers

A very good point Lloydie, although my feet are definitely not small and my Scorpion high level pipes don't suffer from that problem with the standard foot pegs. Perhaps high level pipes and rear-sets don't work so well together.

Welcome aboard Storm in a teacup

Hello mate, blue is a good colour for a football team, especially if it's "lazer" or light blue....
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
