I came over all enthusiastic this evening, and started to pull my engine apart.
I found these in the exhaust system:

The other bit of the valve head was sitting in the inlet tract under the carb.....

I may need a few parts. :think:
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Well, although I can tell that doesn't look good, I don't know what that actually is....

Is that a valve?

That well and truly exploded. So how far down the exhaust did they end up.

In the collector, under the engine.
They may have been travelling at a fair velocity......

Hammer it flat weld it back together polish it up grind the seats back in and bobs your mothers brother :D :D :thumbup: :thumbup:

I won't tony to post pictures of the rest of the engine once taken to pieces. The head is not going to look pretty.
